Pack’s Win Super Bowl!
Sorry for the light posting this weekend – needed a weekend off. Sadly I was introduced to family genealogy on Saturday morning via Ancestry.com – don’t really remember a thing until the Super Bowl kickoff (which I missed). Talked about sucking you in!
Anyway, it was an interesting holiday from the stress of work and the disappointments of our politics. The game last night was well balanced and reamined undecided to the last few possessions – always good in a Super Bowl. The Pack had the momentum and strength starting and finishing. The Steelers were able to turn the momentum around and put a good scare into the Pack at the end of the first half and beginning of the second.
And of course the commercials were a mixed bag. Loved the new Coke commercials, can’t stand the Friday’s commercials (when will ads grow up?). Go Daddy is always a mess. Anyway, hope to hear about everyone’s Super Bowl experiences and take on the game and commercials.

I vote the Optima commercial as best! (or at least my favorite, with mini-Darth Vadar in second) The Optima starts with the car; the cop steals it, then the mega-tycoon steals it, then Neptune steals it, then the Space Aliens steal it, then the Mayan Priest-King steals it. Now that made me laugh out loud at every shift!
WWS. Mini-Darth was kool! Thanks for the reminder. I personally missed the Optima one.

On a completely unrelated note, AJ and WWS, would you vote for Jeb Bush if he were the republican nominee?
the real question is, would the rest of the country?
On the one hand, I like Jeb Bush’s politics, and he was a good governor. On the other, I’m sick of how national politics in this country has started to take a strangely dynastic turn, and I suspect the rest of the country feels the same way. No more Kennedy’s or Clinton’s or Bush’s, please, even if they do hold good views. I think Jeb would make a great Senator, why not let him try to knock Nelson out of his slot?
I believe the midwest is going to be the true battleground in the next election, which is why I’m thinking someone along the lines of Pawlenty, Pence, or Daniels might be the republican’s best shot.
Jeb, Maverick and L. Graham all have the same problem, they want to make all the illegals legal. With that as a cornerstone, it is unlikely any of them would get the Republican nomination.
